The long road (a note to myself)
Hi, love.
I told myself something right at the very beginning of all this, and I have to keep reminding myself of it: this is long work. A long road. Not a sprint, not an overnight thing — a slow, patient building.
And still, most days, I want to rush time. I want it all to work immediately — the studio full, the shop busy, the dreams already real. When it doesn’t happen fast enough, a quiet frustration creeps in. I want more people to see me, to hear me, to notice the value and the potential in what I’m making.

But every time that feeling rises, I come back to the same sentence I gave myself at the start: you knew this was a long road.
My work, this space, the studio, my goals and dreams — none of it needs speed. It needs the right steps, persistence and a bit of stubbornness. If I hold to that, I will get where I want to go.
I believe my people will find their way to me. The ones who feel everything I put into every page and every painting. They are on their way. It just takes time — and time is the one thing I cannot hurry. I can only trust it.
So this is really a note to myself, left open on the table in case you need it too: keep going. Take the next right step. Be patient in the slow stretches, because they are part of the work.
It will all come, Valentynka. Just keep going.
