Everyone says the same thing about time
Hi, love.
Today I want to write down something I’ve been noticing lately. I’ve been asking people — friends, strangers, people much older than me — a simple question about their lives. And almost everyone gives me the same answer.
They say time goes fast. Faster than you think. They say: travel while you can, see the world, don’t wait for the perfect moment. Nobody ever tells me they wish they’d worked more or worried more. They talk about places, people, and the ordinary days that turned out to matter most.
It’s made me look at my own days a little differently. For me, travelling has never been about ticking cities off a list. It’s about being a beginner again — not knowing the streets or the words, letting a place surprise me, and painting a little corner of it so I can remember it more vividly.

So I’ve decided to spend my time on the things that inspire me and the people who feel like sunlight. To say yes to the trip, the long coffee, the unexpected detour. To notice more and rush less.
Because everyone’s right, of course. Time does go fast. But I think it feels slower — richer, somehow — when you fill it with wonder and good people.
That’s the plan, anyway. That’s what I’m choosing.
